Our reflexology treatment will always work both feet. The left foot represents the left side of the body and the right foot represents the right side of the body. Reflexology is not ticklish as a firm pressure is used on the foot.

Foot reflexology is by far the most popular form of reflexology practised in Australia. It is based on the principle that there are reflex points on the feet that correspond to every organ, gland and part of the body. For example, the toes represent the head area and the ball of the foot represents the chest and lung region of the body.

The hot stones are usually made of basalt, a type of rock that is rich in iron, so they retain heat. River rocks are normally used because they are so smooth - they have been smoothed over time by the river's current.

The stones are immersed in water and heated in an electric heating device until they are within a certain temperature range. The stones may be placed at specific points on the back, in the palms of the hand, or between the toes.
